Biggest Morning Tea 2017

On the 23 May 2017 Patty Webb, a supported employee at Castlereagh Industries hosted the Biggest Morning Tea at our Work Centre in Coonamble.

This is an annual event that Patty Webb hosts. She decided to organise this event over 12 years ago and has continued to do this every year.

We provide morning tea, cakes and biscuits and invite families, friends and members of the Coonamble community to attend.
The money that is raised at the tea is donated to our local Cancer Survival Fund. This year we raised in excess of $350.00 for our Cancer Survival Fund.

This year's theme was to wear footy colours. It is such great fun when we add a theme to the event.

We had in excess of 75 people attend the event. This is a great way for our employees to interact with members of the Coonamble community.

The Cancer Survival Fund is about looking after the people of Coonamble who are going through cancer treatment.

The money is raised is given to people to spend on anything for themselves, not for treatment.

The hope is that by purchasing something for themselves, it will assist them to feel good about themselves.

Congratulations to Patty and the rest of the Castlereagh team for arranging this wonderful initiative.
